A miniature figure of studies has formerly used a restricted numeral of indicators to evaluate precise topics around pharmacy practice. A complete set of global indicators for the evaluation of GPP is still deficient. The aim of this study was to illustrate a new indicator based tool for assessment of good pharmacy practices. Descriptive indicator study conducted for a period of six months in the community pharmacies of Nellore city. The data collection form was developed in bilingual language (English and Telugu), based on the survey manual. On comparison the results are not satisfactory, primarily in terms of system indicators, followed by service indicators, dispensing indicators, rational drug use indicators and storage indicators respectively. The assessment of good pharmacy practice in community pharmacy settings in India, the results were similar but the dispensing indicators are improved and rational drug use indicators were declined. We concluded that Storage indicators are high and satisfactory. While, system and service indicators are poor and needs improvement.
